
Developing, Recruiting, and Empowering Alabama Mathematics Teachers
The Master of Arts in Teaching degree leads to certification as a secondary school mathematics teacher (grades 6-12) and is intended for professionals with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field who have a strong mathematics background.

DREAM-Math

High Quality
Follows requirements of national standards, the Alabama State DOE, and Auburn University to earn a master’s degree in mathematics education.
Provides support and mentoring as they begin their careers.

Efficient
A one-year program that leads to initial certification in Alabama at Class A level and meets the NSF Noyce Track 2 guidelines (4 semesters).
